What is brickdims.com?

brickdims.com is a free collection of calculation tools built for architects and construction professionals working in the UK. It covers brick coursing, stair and ramp design, U-values, space planning, sustainability metrics and more - all running entirely in your browser, with no login required.

Every tool is built around UK Building Regulations, British Standards, and real construction practice. Results are checked against Approved Documents so they are always relevant. Please note, results are indicative only and are not a replacement for professional guidance.

Who is it for?

Architects, technologists, contractors, and students who want quick, reliable reference calculations without switching between spreadsheets, tables and documents.

Privacy and data

The calculators themselves run entirely in your browser - nothing you type into a tool is ever sent to a server. Your settings (theme, pinned tools, saved inputs) are saved locally on your device only. The site doesn't use advertising or third-party tracking, so there's no cookie consent banner. The exceptions are the contact form, which emails your message to us if you choose to send one, and the site analysis tool, which looks up public data for the location you pick - see the Privacy Policy for details.
